What the Burton ARMOR means to Me
What the Burton Armor means to Me
The Burton ARMOR means to me that to walk on the black top. To not hit other Burton Dragons. Not stay out at recess when the bell rings. Don't yell at Burton Dragons. Now you know what the Burton Armor means to me.

A Mother's Love
Mary tell me why is a mothers' love not good enough?
The love that will protect you until there is one who will love and protect you more than I.
Mary tell me why you have to search for a person who will tell you how beautiful, wonderful, and great you are. Do you not know that those words are so miss used? They are thrown around with a smile, a hug, and a touch.
Love takes time... It grows not with just the word love, it takes service, devotion, romance, and total honesty.
Mary tell me why my heart aches? Tell me why and then maybe I may rest.
This was a note from my mother, Nancy Livingston. It was given to me sometime between 1996 and 2002. It was so sweet. I was always boy crazy ever since I was young. My dearest mother was just overwhelmed with it at some point. Thanks mom for watching out for me and taking care of me. I love you. ~Mary

TO: DAD
Dear Dad, I feel like hurting Jenny, Tracey, and Sarah realy bad because I went outside to watch Tracey and Sarah. They were playing with stiks so I went over and told them to stopplaying with the stiks. They kept on playing with them so I took the stiks away. Then Jenny came from the back yard and she started saying RUN RUN, DON'T LET HER GET YOU! I put them on the steps and they ran inside. I came in and I said TIME TO PLAY INSIDE so they started crying and Tracey got on the floor. I tried to get her up and Mom and Jenny started yelling at me so Mom sent me to my room because she thought I was hurting her. That's why.

The Hungry Turkey
Once upon a time there was a really fat turkey. It said to its mother, "What are we having for dinner?" The mother said, "Gobble Gobble!" The Turkey said, "Stop joking!" Then the turkey went to his dad. The turkey said, "What are we having for dinner?" The dad said, "You, gooooobble goobble." The turkey said, "No no no no No NO! I'm leaving to live with a human!"
So, the turkey set off then he came to a house. It looked friendly. He ran and barged into the house... all of the monkeys, moose, cats, dogs, cariboo, deer, sheep, porcupines, squirels, chickens, ostrich, and even the humans said, "Yummy!" The turkey said, "What's for dinner?" The human said, "Potatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, cornbread, and turkey."
"Turkey? You mean, me the turkey?!?"
"Triple yes, here's a shower for turkeys."
"Fo........ For me?"
"Oh yes!" the human said.
The turkey said, "It burns!"
"It's really an oven wah ha ha!" said the human. Bam bam shatter! "The the glass!" Bam bam boom. "Goo goo ga ga. Rock that! Get that! I scream! I shout! Get that turkey! Gobble ba."
"That was a terrible nightmare," the turkey said. "Let's uh oh school." the turkey said. "My mother, what a shock! Rabbit...?"
"Oh sorry remember it's Thanksgiving, " Rabbit said.
"Oh, I thought you eat turkeys on Thanksgiving?
"Oh, we do but not our friends." rabbit said.
"Who's WE?"
"Surprise!"
"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bam splat! "What THE?!?"

Dr.Martin luther King, jr
Dr.Martin Luther King, jr. said I have a dream that black and white people should hold hands as brothers and sisters. That he saw signs all over the country that said white people only. That he said over 100 speaches to black and white people. That his dream came true that black and white people should hold hands as brothers and sisters.That he got shot.

Held Breath
Seeking, I found;
and so, wide-listening, lay at the heart of all-
an instant-an eternity-who knows?
I lay at the heart of the world and heard the world
from creation to creation
from forever to forever
from now to now.
I heard the seas let forth; the great peaks rise;
the sun burst red across the first day's rim;
and in the churning fogs I heard it set.
I heard the mists rise over forming plains;
I heard the towering trees take root and shape;
I heard the spirit quiver and divide
and scintillate in multiplicity;
I heard the ego enter into flesh.
Deep in the dark and dazzle of the mists
I heard the heartbreak of divided soul;
I heard the teardrops of a spirit flow.
Holding my breath, I heard the breath of things
too near to fathom and too far to change.
I heard love turn to scarlet; truth to beige;
peace turn to saffron; loyalty to gray.
I heard the flame creep on the fleshy wall;
I heard the smoke drift out across the sky;
I heard the fiery embers dim and die
and,
soft as silence,
heard the ashes fall.

As an explanation of my confession: My cousin kept telling me that if I called 911 that it wouldn't work. He kept pushing me to do it. I was young, around 5 years old, and I went and called 911. When they answered, I hung up. I remember crying and hiding as I could hear the ambulance and police cars surround the church. I remember having to apologize and being so angry at my cousin. I swear it was David Borough, but I can't remember. ~Mary

What is this all about?
I just decided that any stories that I have written or any of the boys have written must not be forgotten. I am going to be typing out poems and stories that have been written by me or any of my family. I'm also going to put in favorite quotes, poems, and letters that are sitting in a couple boxes in our garage. Enjoy and feel free to comment because Elijah and I love to hear what you have to say. Thanks!
